CanvasM launches VAS Solution 'Saral Rozgar'

CanvasM,VAS subsidiary of Tech Mahindra and Motoroal,part of US $ 11.1 Billion Mahindra group,Friday announced partnered with NGO Rashtriya Rozgar Mission,launch of its unique service, Saral Rozgar',service to connect Blue-collar workers and unorganized workers and part time, workers such as drivers, plumbers, electricians, domestic help, along with inclusion of prospective employers, through mobile and online mediums.Saral Rozgar is a direct to customer service, intended towards creating a job market for blue collared “job seekers” and “job providers”. This low-cost service is easily accessible on voice (IVR) as well as web and caters to all the players of this ecosystem, namely, job seekers, business enterprises acting as job providers and employment agencies. The service accommodates a wide range of workers, ranging from skilled and unskilled industrial workers, to domestic workers and part-time handymen workers.

Saral Rozgar launched in the Dehi/NCR region, migrant workers can still access the service if they seek jobs in the region. CanvasM plans to extend it pan-India by the end of this year, and also make it multi-lingual.

CanvasM,works on a national helpline number, 1860 180 1100, for job seekers can register their profile, give details about their expertise and skills, and apply for jobs. The helpline is connected to manager at work, files the details online. and to do the exercise need call center operations outsourced to Tech Mahindra’s BPO division.

Employers can register free on Saral Rozgar’s website and search for prospective employees from the site’s database. They can call-out shortlisted job seekers through the site. On being shortlisted, candidates receive a call on their mobile phones and seek consent to connect them to the employer who has made the offer. Apart from the helpline, NGOs, Direct Selling Agents, and retail outlets of the Mahindra group will also register job seekers.

Potential job providers can access this database on www.saralrozgar.com and can reach the job seeker either through SMS or a voice call," says Mitra.

Service offered free till July, thereafter to be chargeable at Rs 30 per month for job seekers and Rs 5 per call-out for employers. Calls to the helpline are chargeable at local call rates. CanvasM in process with telcos and other service providers to enhance its ambit, operator billing, job seekers will also be able to pay for the service through prepaid cash cards.
