Ask Minster Sharad Pawar to stop illegal fishing

Dear NK,
Ask Minister Sharad Pawar to stop illegal fishing.
Four foreign fishing vessels were stealing fish from India’s seas. They fled as soon Greenpeace activists on the Esperanza caught up with them.
Foreign vessels exploit India’s marine resources, often illegally, and reap huge profits. At the same time, the local fishing communities struggle with the issue of depleting fish stocks and the destruction of marine habitats.
The Agriculture Ministry’s faulty policy is primarily responsible for this scam at sea. Minister Sharad Pawar needs to stop this crime now.
You should ask Minster Sharad Pawar to stop illegal fishing because it is destroying the livelihoods of fishing communities and marine ecosystems.

Over 21,000 people have already signed this petition, which will be delivered to the minister. A huge number of signatures on the petition will show strong support for this demand.
India’s fishing stock is depleting rapidly and a lot of it is being stolen by foreign vessels. They are cheating the local fishing communities and the people of this country.
Ask the Ministry of Agriculture to act now!
