The
agreements were for executive program on cultural exchange, Technical
cooperation and bio technology. An MoU was also inked to provide
scholarship to Brazilian students in India.
Earlier,
visiting Brazilian President Dilma Rouseff held talks with Prime
Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on important bilateral and multilateral
issues.
Later
addressing media Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh said that both
countries will ensure more consultations on global issues including on
UN reform.
Dr Singh also assured Brazilian President that will give its full support to the Rio+20 summit on the sustainable development.
Brazilian
President said that bilateral trade between both the countries will
reach 15 billion dollar in next three years, a jump of 50 percent from
the existing trade.
Brazilian President Dilma Rouseff, who is on a state visit to India was given a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Earlier, she also visited Rajghat and paid tribute to father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.
