“OUTREACH SEMINAR ON THE INDIA-JAPAN CEPA”

India and Japan implemented a comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA) earlier this month, aiming to provide greater access to each other's markets and almost double the bilateral trade by 2014. This is India's first CEPA with a developed country and by far the most comprehensive of all the agreements concluded by India so far.
India Japan CEPA is expected to usher in a new era of economic engagement, which will bring development, innovation and prosperity in both societies.
In order to provide an expert’s insight on India Japan CEPA and the opportunities offered by it to business communities of the two countries, FICCI, in partnership with the Embassy of Japan and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry is organizing a lecture on “India-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement” by Mr. Masakazu Shima, Managing Director, Logistique Inc. an expert on the utilization of FTA/CEPA on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1000 hrs at FICCI, Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi.
You will also be pleased to know that Mr. Asit Tripathy, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and Mr. Tamaki Tsukada, Minister (Economic & Development), Embassy of Japan will also be speaking at this Seminar.
The lecture would be followed by Q&A session.
