Posted on May 26, 2013 by sagarmedia
Japan Coast Guard officials have warned three Chinese government vessels to leave Japanese territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea.
A Japanese patrol ship confirmed the entry of the maritime surveillance ships on Sunday morning.
Chinese government ships have entered Japanese waters nearly month this year.
The chief of the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Shinsuke Sugiyama, telephoned Chinese Embassy Minister Han Zhiqiang in Tokyo.
Sugiyama said the Senkaku Islands are an integral part of Japanese territory. He demanded that the ships withdraw from Japanese waters immediately.NHK
