Manav Rachna Sports Academy organises three days advance table - tennis clinic by Peter Karlsson

New Delhi, 11^th May 2013: Manav Rachna Sports Academy is organizing 3 days advance table tennis clinic for its students to encourage and nurture their interest in sports. Mr. Peter Karlsson, the renowned table-tennis player who has been conferred with the title of World Champion five times in the sport and has been a six times European Champion, is guiding students on sharpening their table-tennis skills. The day-long activity is being held at the Manav Rachna International School, Sector -14, Faridabad from 10^th May to 12^thMay, 2013.

Stag, the only Indian label to be approved by International Table Tennis Federation has partnered with Manav Rachna Sports Academy to conduct the TT clinic. It has more than 60 registrations from the interested candidates. Eminent personalities from the sports fraternity are also present at the event.

Elated with the response the clinic is receiving, Mr. Peter Karlsson says, “Sports in itself is a fantastic education which gives a huge platform to the students and youth. In a game, it’s not only winning or losing, it is the spirit of continued effort of practicing and keep playing. It is such an education which the educator can cherish and will be benefitted whole his/her life. They can use this "sport education" in school, business and in any other field of work. Research has also shown that physical exercise increases ones efficiency and gives them better results in studies, work and life.”

He further adds, “It is an overwhelming feeling to impart training to the students of Manav Rachna. I feel happy to guide the young talent and encourage them to play this rewarding sport. I believe the credit goes to Manav Rachna University for executing and ideating a clinic like this.”

Peter Karlsson is a famous Table-Tennis player born on May 29, 1969, in Stenstorp, Sweden. He has been 5 times World champion and 6 times European champion in table-tennis sport. He has played 3 times in Olympics held at Atlanta, Sydney & Athens. He is the member of Swedish team for 20 years and has been endorsing ‘Stag’ as its brand ambassador. He is also recognized as a "High Performance Coach" For ITTF.
