ANHAD has been under attack since Shabnam Hashmi raised questions about the ‘Gujarat Verdict 2012’ by releasing her public statement. The attack came from the Gujarat State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Mr Purshottam Rupala, who wrote letters to the Prime Minister against Anhad and also leaked half baked information against Anhad to various small time websites assumingly supported by them.

ANHAD is calling a Press Conference on May 2, 2013, 2013 at 3 pm at IWPC, 5 Windsor Place, New Delhi-110001.

Shabnam Hashmi and Manan Trivedi will address the press conference and release the documents received through RTI from the PMO in regard to Mr Purshottam Rupala’s letters to the Prime Minister against Anhad. 

ANHAD will expose the deceit and desperation of the BJP President and the CM to throttle every dissenting voice which stands for safeguarding democracy and secularism both in Gujarat and at the national level.
