CM promise on South Delhi Colonies Regularization a farce : Jolly

New Delhi, 6 July 2012:Delhi BJP Spokesman Mr. Vijay Jolly today termed as farce the promise of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to regularize South Delhi colonies soon. Despite Congress govt. in Delhi for more than 13 years & repeated promise of regularization, not a single colony benefiting depicts the hollow promises stated BJP Leader Mr. Jolly on the issue. Sheila Govt. is befooling the citizens of South Delhi repeatedly said Mr. Jolly. The forum of “Bhagidari” with RWA’s representatives is being misused by Chief Minister Smt. Dikshit. BJP leader Mr. Jolly charged that the recent promise by Delhi Chief Minister before 700 residents of South Delhi at a bhagidari workshop that Sangam Vihar slum colony located on forest land shall be regularized soon is false since Delhi Govt. has no locus standi  & power to do so. Despite third term for Sheila Govt. not a single unauthorized colony out of the list of 1,639 has been legally authorized. Delhi Govt. has no power to amend the Delhi Land Act since it has no jurisdiction over land and police thundered BJP Spokesman Mr. Vijay Jolly. It is high time that Congress led UPA govt. provides relief to the beleaguered nearly 55 lakh poor Delhi citizens living in these illegal colonies. Election time stunts & false promises should be avoided since it erodes the confidence of the aam aadmi in governance & politics.
